To successfully predict whether the player's hand or the banker's hand will get closer to a value of 9 or that the game will result in a tie.

A gambler has 3 wagers to choose: player, banker or tie.
You do not receive any cards, or play against anyone.

How to play baccarat?

Baccarat is a card game that is dealt from a shoe that holds 6 or 8 decks of cards.

All ten-value cards - tens and all picture cards - count as 0 and aces count as 1.

The winning hand is the hand with the highest points value.

You decide whether to bet on the dealer or bet on the player to get nearer to a total of 9, or you can bet the game will end in a tie. This is a less likely outcome but you win eight times your bet if you are right.

If the cards in a hand total 10 or more, simply subtract 10.
For example, a 9 and a 7 = 16 but the Baccarat points value is 6.

A two card total of 9 is called a natural and cannot lose. An 8 is the second best hand and is also called a natural.
If both player and bank are dealt identical hands, it is a tie and neither bank nor player wins.

Under certain circumstances a third card is dealt:

Player's hand receives a third card
if the first 2 cards points value is less than 6

Banker's hand receives a third card
if first 2 cards points value less than 3
or total 3 points unless the player's total is 8
or total 4 points unless the player's total is 0, 1, 8 or 9
or total 5 points unless the player's total is 0, 1, 2, 3, 8, or 9
or total 6 points unless the player's total is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 or 9

The banker always stands on a total of 7.

The player always stands on a total of 6 or 7.

If either the player or the banker total 8 or 9 with their first 2 cards, the game ends.

Banker 1:1-5% goes to the house

Player 1:1

Tie 8:1
